1. Hunters idea of "conservation" is to ensure enough "game" animal for
future generations of killing for sports and trophy from birds to big
"game" animals with the use of food plots,
manipulating deer habitat and of course using Compensatory Rebound Effect http://defendurbanwildlife.org/news/Compensatory%20Rebound%20Effect.pdf
which the hunting industry knows very well about that is how they
ensure enough deer to satisfy "sportsman" across America. . They tell
the public money goes to land for "all" to enjoy but what they do not
know is that same land that non killers are photographing nature will be
the same land that will be used as a killing field for "sportsman" and
the beautiful photograph of a buck deer, Elk, Moose etc will be killed http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JVSruqFgktY
and probably won't see them again instead it will be on some hunters
wall or in a photograph with a dead animal on the ground gray in the
eyes, blood in the mouth posed with the hunter sitting or standing by
with smiles on his face that he was able to "conquer" such magnificent
creature.
Here is more about "Conservation" which is an important read.
Manipulating wildlife conservation for special interests
Eco-tourism
is what brings the money but the hunting industry rarely mentions that
because the NRA and the pro-kill Government wants the public to continue
believing it's the "sportsman" who brings money. Then they say how they
"boost" the economy yet with such small percentage of killers in
America I would believe that is a bit of an exaggeration. Imagine how
much money can be made by eco-tourism, bird watching, nature photography
where MAJORITY of the population will enjoy but many do not want to get
involved because of hunting that does takes place. "Sportsman" or
American are only 4% of the American population but the reason they
continue to "win" is the support of power and money (guns and political
people who too have interest in hunting) which they get money from all
the hunting propaganda. They do love their euphemism such as
"conservation", "wildlife management", "love and respect nature".
Psychopaths too were good with being the "nice" people but behind the
facade lies a soulless monster.
Also how is
"conservation" of land doing the non-killing public any good if we can'
even feel safe in the woods during the fall. There is no peace in there
just death and destruction as millions of hunters heads out into the
forest blasting their guns, crossbows and bows and arrows to KILL.
Overall
"Conservation" is just a euphemism , another name for propagating
"game" animals for "sportsman" to kill not only for today but for the
future. There is nothing "beautiful" about terror, pain, suffering,
bloodshed and death to the innocent because that is what hunters love to
show on their videos and websites about "conservation". I wonder what
it would look like if they showed what really happens to the animals
they "conserve" . One last thing I forgot to mention many popular
"wildlife group" hooking up with the hunters (easy money , quick fix and
brainwashed to think if you kill some you will have plenty of animals
for "all" to enjoy which we know is a farce). Organization such as
Nature Conservancy, National Wildlife Federation, World Wildlife Fund,
Sierra Club, and of course Audubon.
How to refute hunters BS. The "if we don't kill them they'll starve to death"
If
I had a dime for every "they'll starve to death" I be a billionair.
First of all I don't see any DNR selling tags to kill the "starving and
sickly deer" do you? Every hunters wants the healthy with the big rack
to compensate for their shortcomings so there is no "starving deer" in
any hunting photos I have seen yet. Plus how do they know which deer
will "starve to death" when they shoot them and also who is killing the
deer's natual predators such as coyotes and wolves? That's right the
hunters, the more killing done to "varmints" the better because they
will reduce the deer numbers *naturally* which the hunters do not want.
Coyotes and wolves goes after the sickly to keep the strong yes they
go after babies too and it's sad but that is part ot the nature way to
keep healthy eco- balance not bunch of "sportsman" killing animals for
shere pleasure even the babies, yearlings, pregnant does and of course
the beautiful buck.
As
millions of hunters heads into the woods the deer become very stressed
which causes them to be unable to eat, the hunters causes the animal
family to separate which means the yearling will lose the warmth of
their mother or the matriarchs if the yearling lost their mother from
hunters. Hunters especially bowhunters leave thousands wounded and
crippled unable to eat now talk about "starvation" and also dying from
pain and suffering. In Wisconsin 08 Season 68,000 wounded deer were not
recovered by hunters according to their Game Commission. It was not
only on this article from Associated Press but on another one but lets
say the number *maybe* was miscalculated and it is actually 6,000 or
even 600, or 60 that is still way too many deer suffered for hunters
sick pleasure.
(Read last line)
In
America they do love their food plots and with all the food plots and
hunters propagating deer for hunting pleasure via Compensatory Rebound
Effect (CRE) http://mathew5-7.blogspot.com/2009/08/this-is-why-we-have-too-many-deer.html
there will always be abundance of deer and many deer will run from
terrors of hunting to seek refuge and that is why you will find deer in
area that has no hunting then they blame because there was no hunting
blahblahblah. Deer numbers are here because of hunters that is the most
important thing people must remember, hunters kills off the healthiest
of the deer /elk, hunters stresses the deer, hunters leaves thousands
wounded and crippled to die after days unable to eat.
Watch this video I did a while back ago.
Deer Hunting Increases the Rate Of Deer Starvation
Lastly
starvation is a natural part of life and death in the wild just as
diseases and death are for humans. I also forgot to mention that the
body size of whitetails has gotten smaller because of hunting (not the
rack obviously they work hard to make sure rack will be huge) and also
certain species of bear body size has gotten smaller "thanks" to
hunters. Twice I saw a video where the hunter shot a buck because the
antler was not right (bad genes) not because of sickly or thin and even
Killed the older buck because they feel they are no more use for
mating. Yeah that is how much they "care" for the starving.!
First
of all CWD the most serious of all disease were first spread by Elk and
Deer farming when hunters were feeding rendered animals to grow large
rack and because of hunting with their baiting and supplement feeding it
continued to spread today though they banned feeding rendered animals
they still supplement feed deer or bait when the deer congregates and
that is how it's spread.. (although with the hunting public who knows if
they still feed rendered animals)
"As
you can see by reading this article [below] in this afternoon's Capital
Times of Madison, word is slowly leaking out about what has apparently
been a massive decade-long feeding of "supplements" (including meat and
bone meal as mineral and protein) to wild deer in the heart of the "kill
zone," the area of the WI Chronic Wasting Disease outbreak.
Apparently
no one in the CWD research community has ever investigated the
possibility that CWD may be spreading via rendered feed (mineral, fat
and protein supplements), as happened in Britain with mad cow disease.
This needs to be investigated immediately as a possible third means of
infection for CWD, along with suspected animal-to-animal transmission
and environmental contamination.
As you can see from the
excerpts of two books below on feeding wild deer, there has been a huge
push over the past 10-15 years of supplemental feeding of both game
farmed elk and deer and wild deer to grow bigger animals with huge-boned
antlers. "
Bovine TB is another disease that can kill human and animals and it's spread by supplement feeding and baiting
same as CWD. Bovine TB is found in Michigan and spreading http://www.upnorthlive.com/news/story.aspx?id=507733
. They believe killing will "eliminate" the diseases but in Wisconsin
they have killed thousands of deer since 2002 and CWD is still
prevalent. The main cause of spread is hunters supplement feeding and
baiting deer and Elk although they are "prohibiting" baiting and
supplement feeding certain areas are still allowed in "Non-CWD Zone" in
Wisconsin and in private land. Also when they gut the deer and leave
the gut pile what other animals could be consuming a diseased deer?
CWD is now in 14 states plus 2 Canadian Province
Colorado,
Illinois, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico,
New York (only from CWD containment area), Oklahoma, South Dakota, Utah,
West Virginia (only from Hampshire County), Wisconsin and Wyoming; as
well as the Canadian provinces of Alberta and Saskatchewan.
Overall it's not just CWD but other wildlife diseases which hunting can worsen the epidemic
Hunting Can Increase The Severity Of Wildlife Disease Epidemics
"One
reason the policies failed, Choisy and Rohani said, is that they didn’t
take into account an ecological principle known as compensation. When a
portion of the animal population is reduced, those that survive are
left with more resources such as food and shelter. As a result of the
newly plentiful resources, the death rate decreases and the birth rate
increases, compensating – and sometimes overcompensating – for the loss.
(Here you can see Compensatory Rebound Effect at work)
Killing
wild animals can also increase the proportion of the population that’s
susceptible to disease by removing those individuals who have contracted
a virus but have developed lifelong immunity as a result of their
infection.
The
effect can be so dramatic that in some cases hunting can increase not
only the proportion of infections and deaths, but also the absolute
numbers. For example, their model shows that in the case of swine fever,
a highly infectious disease threatening boars and pigs in Europe,
hunting can increase the number of infected individuals by twenty five
percent.
If we want to preserve the hunted population, we
should be careful about when we schedule the hunting season compared to
birth season because if it’s too early or late, it can drive the population to extinction,” "
Hunters still seem to make excuses why it's "ok" for them to supplement feed deer (read my blogger)
Wisconsin
DNR is still allowing supplement feeding if the hunter pays more money
and so long as you have sports hunting they will bait even if it's
against the law in CWD zone.
In Wisconsin CWD are
spreading yet there is still baiting deer and DNR is actually letting
them with an extra charge. Why would they even do that if that is how
CWD is spread? Ridiculous but not surprised at all!. As you read the
article they also want to continue to supplement feed the deer for fear
of deer numbers fa...lling (and ...all this time I thought hunting is
about deer herd reduction) .
"I see people loading trucks
with corn, carrots and sugar beets around my home in Grayling, and a
friend called to say bait is widely sold even at the heart of the CWD
management zone in Kent County.
It will be even harder to
get Upper Peninsula hunters to accept a ban, because deer numbers there
are below targets set by the Department of Natural Resources and
Environment. And without supplemental winter feeding the population
will drop even more.
The DNRE could charge $20-$30 for a
license that lets people use small amounts of bait at a time or
materials like salt licks and attractor blocks. Purchasing that license
would acknowledge that the DNRE has the right to come onto a hunter's
property to check the bait pile." http://www.freep.com/article/20101118/SPORTS10/11180469/CWD-test-
Overall
it's the sports hunting industry that will eventually bring deer to
extinction from wildlife disease epidemic with their supplement feeding
and baiting
HUNTERS CONTINUE TO DESTROY OUR WILDLIFE, WORSENING DISEASES AND MAY EVEN ONE DAY BRING DEER TO EXTINCTION.
Lastly
deer trafficking is very common so with hunters wanting their big rack
deer the disease will continue to worsen in that way too.

(Bovine TB turning up in Michigan)
(Pesticides from lawn spray tons were sprayed in NJ and hunted deer "given" to the pantries)
Before
I start let me remind you that when recreational hunters comes to your
post with the old line of "meat in the freezer" and "Our meat is
hormone free and organic" is just their cover-up. Okeeee, now lets see
we know wildlife especially deer may carry all kinds of diseases one
such as bovine TB which can transmit to man, there are parasite, worms
of all kinds, pesticides from the lawn and the most dangerous of all
which if Chronic Wasting Disease another pretty name of Mad Deer Disease
What the government isn't telling you about mad deer disease.
Prions
in CWD is the same agent that causes Creutzfeldt-Jakob is a rare, fatal
illness often described as "fast Alzheimer's. One cannot often detect a
sick deer until the final stage so you can kill a deer thinking he/she
is "healthy" but instead carrying the disease.
(checking for CWD)
"At
least seven people age 66 or younger -- all hunters or venison eaters
-- are known to have died of Creutzfeldt-Jakob in the U.S. in the last
nine years. The total number will never be known because there's no
federal requirement that all cases be reported. Preliminary studies
suggest, and some neurologists suspect, that CJD is more common than
generally believed -- it's simply misdiagnosed as Alzheimer's. That
raises the obvious question: How many people would die of chronic
wasting disease before a doctor called it?
In a highly
publicized case, three Wisconsin hunters who attended wild-game feasts
died of neurological diseases. Two had Creutzfeldt-Jakob, one turned out
to have another rare neurological ailment, Pick's disease. Tests are
ongoing.
Another victim from Oklahoma died with a freezer
full of venison. A 50-year-old Montana elk hunter died last summer; his
brain tissue is now being analyzed at one of the world's foremost prion
labs, at the University of California in San Francisco. Test results are
pending."
None of the meat that some consume are inspected by the USDA the hunters "inspect" it themselves.
Lastly
only 16% according to a chart found in a hunting website motive to hunt
is for food the rest is for sports so even *if" some eat the meat they
only take the "back ribs" or parts to make "beef jerkey" (laughable).
("to be close to nature" and "to be with family" is another words for "I love to kill living creatures")
Sports hunters have their fridge stocked with market food and dairy is
filled with hormones and puss and god knows what. So all that "organic
hormone free" more excuses and I have seen hunters going into 7-11's
before their morning kill and even stop at Wendy's. Plus why is it that
heart attack http://www.theherald.com.au/news/local/news/general/hunter-is-heart-attack-capital/1996845.aspx are so prevalent in the hunting community? Boy those Venison must be really "healthy" for them.
(Don't forget milk and all dairy product is filled with puss, hormones and all kinds of crap)
(don't forget Milk is filled with hormones, puss and all kinds of junk)
*I
am not against sustenance hunting I understand there are some people
who have absolutely no choice but those who not be here making lame
excuses, they will not be making videos or taking morbid photographs
they be out getting their food with a shotgun and come home. So many
times on some of the cruelest videos on youtube you hear the remark of
'yeah meat in freezer" or "back ribs baby" just to make the public think
their disgusting savage killing is not because they just enjoy it.
Even their own hero Ted the "Turd" Nugent said
Nobody
hunts just to put meat on the table because it's too expensive, time
consuming and extremely inconsistent. - Ted Nugent's World Bowhunters
Magazine, Volume 1/ Number 3, March/April 1990, p.7
I
believe even though today's recreational hunting has got nothing to do
with food we should all strive to go vegan if we are going to go out
and defend our wildlife, seals, whales, cats or dogs. It's a
compassionate choice we do have today and there is no more excuse for
you can't love and care for cats , dogs, seal or deer yet eat the body
of a cow, pigs, chicken or even have dairy for all animals suffer and NO
animals do not want to die. Now Of course most of us know what goes
on at the slaughterhouse and in slaughterhouse it's a horrible hell for
the animals . Many are trying to go for the "humane" meat though I
don't believe in that lie for no animals wants to die and in the end all
death is horrific but that does not mean the animals in the wild by the
billions do not suffer for SPORTS and TROPHY or what ever sick thrills
one get out of killing innocent sentient beings. It only takes a mind
of a soulless humans to want to literally go into the homes of the
animals and kill for the shear fun of it. As far as the slaughterhouse
and meat eating, today many are also going vegetarian and transition
into veganism for we are all learning that animals are sentient beings
that do want to live, they have their life, their families, their
babies, group bonding and look at the deer with their Matriarch, when
one dies another take over. That is a sentient beings.
We
know that today's sport hunting has got nothing to do with "food",
*some* may "eat" the "back ribs" or "beef jerky" (pathetic) as the rest
of the body is either dumped to the forest ground, the land fill or
"give" the unsavory part to the pantries to poison them with non USDA
meat that hunters "inspect" themselves. HUNTERS LOVE THE "MEAT IN FREEZER" EXCUSE
I hear it all the time as if that takes the focus off their horrific
cruelty done in the name of sports and trophy. It's like their crutch
same as how they use poachers as a scapegoat the hunting industry and
hunters know their lies for lies and hunters and synonymous.
The
WORST PART IS in the forest recreational hunters can do WHAT EVER THEY
WISH because sports hunting is nothing more then legalized animal
cruelty.
No one hear their cries http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XE_JqmUacNQ&feature=related,
no one sees the animals suffocating in their own blood or taking hours
to die. No one sees how many cruel humans enjoy watching animals
suffer http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yuPl4-w4pcU as they spine hit the deer even fawns with spots http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N_KSKQKkhS8 and then they cheer http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xHB-X2Bmv8A and the bowhunters doing the "smack down" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JVSruqFgktY.
There are many humans are out there who enjoy causing cruelty to
animals. They know that all they have to do is to get a hunting license
and call yourself a "sportsman" or "outdoorsman" and you can cause any
pain and suffering you want http://www.youtube.com/user/HR5337SPORTSHUNTING#p/a/u/2/wVLh0J77OMA.
It's all legalized animal cruelty, bowhunting in itself is immense
cruelty so the DNR and other state wildlife killing Agencies (DNR,
Fish and Games etc) could give a damn what you all do, let the animals
suffer and die a slow death isn't that right? BUT, NOW Lucky
for us now we have bunch of morons who upload their sadism onto youtube
which is a haven for monsters who like to feel "important" by
destroying life as they video tape soon after the shot with all that
whooping for joy as the animals run after arrow hit to lay up and die http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zw4MyyM1utc and the hunters wait the recommended 30-45 minutes sometimes up to 4 hours even 12 hours or longer . In the forest there is no anti-cruelty law, in the forest the "sportsman" can do whatever they wish and
the worst part now is that bowhunting is becoming more popular even the
shotgun hunters are taking up the sadist "sports" for the soulless
psychopathic humans.
How
many deer and other "game" animals are left wounded and crippled to die
after days of suffering all for the sake of sports and trophy . ? In my
other post I showed you a graphic in Wisconsin 08's deer killing season, 68,000 wounded deer were not recovered by hunters
now how about the other states? How many do they leave behind in the
forest ground or in rivers and streams dumped as if they were "nothing"
We know today's recreational hunters goes to their 7-11 for their egg and bacon sandwich and coffee
for
their early morning kill or late afternoon at Wendy's for their "let
the deer layup and die" lunch and their fridge is stocked with chicken,
pork, steak, rib eyes, dairy and other market bought food.
Recreational hunters are not killing out of survival or sustenance
they are killing for sports while they drive their ATV, have their
fancy killing gear , face painted like they are in a "war zone" to
murder bambies. So "sportsman" cause pain and suffering indirectly in
the slaughterhouse for food and in the home of the animals for "fun" .
Slaughterhouse is evil and horrendous and sports hunting is just the same but
I say this again, with *SPORTS* Hunting (Killing) THERE IS NO LIMIT TO
THE AMOUNT OF CRUELTY THAT CAN BE INFLICTED ON THE ANIMALS IN THEIR
OWN HOME- Only small percentage of those hunting is for
sustenance the rest is for shear pleasure of killing call them
"sportsman", "outdoorsman", "conservationist", for us they are simply
wildlife killing PSYCHOPATHS!
Lastly,
let's all strive to be on a plant based diet, it's really sounds
hypocritical to fight for one sentient beings while eating another even
though fighting against sports hunting is not about Veganism.
Because
with hunters they cause indirect pain and suffering to innocent
sentient beings for food and direct deliberate pain and suffering on an
innocent sentient being for sports and trophy
("to be with family", "to be close to nature" is just another way of saying "I just love to kill")
*Just
to let you know that "16%" is not sustenance hunters or survival those
are people who kills to eat the "back ribs" or "deer jerky" sustenance
hunters and survival only makes up about .001% of the population.
SO IN CONCLUSION
Body Count - ANIMALS KILLED ANNUALLY By Sportsman/Hunters
I think it was back in 2007 that youtube came along and it became a haven for hunters to "show off" their barbarism and killing. The kind of "enjoyment" only their psychotic kind can understand and I always remember back in 2007 I would watch other non-killers comment on their videos of anger and outrage but the hunters would laugh and mock about killing more bambies in that persons name. Before youtube came along and with hunting snuff videos( which of course most non-killers never bother looking at) the public always believed in the lies of hunters on how "ethical" they are and how the animals die a "quick painless death" (maybe with bullet 80% of the times) but DEFINITELY NOT with a bow and arrow this I have learned. I have seen quiet a few slob shotgun hunters who will shoot to cause pain and to laugh and had to wait for the deer to die as well but majority it was hit and dead exception is during "deer drive" on the other hand with bowhunting the animals death is by hemorrhaging which means to bleed to death. The shots are hardly ever "well placed" I often hear bowhunters say "way to the back" "too much to the front", "jump the string" "I think I got the gut", "He got scraped most sure he is alive still" (yeah sure). Now with youtube (A haven for hunters, "Outdoorsman" "sportsman" and many sadist monster organization we are learning. BTW Hunting forums are another great place to learn how they brag and "show off" their murder gallery of death and destruction.
Hunters talk about "overpopulation" and "starvation" yet they kill off all deers natural predators that does reduce deer's population and weed out the sicklyclick here
Deer Drive - is cruelty to animals and cause high deer vehicle accidents. (they even have bear drive I heard). click here
Here you can read more about bowhunting.click here
(Read the part about how hard it is to hit deer accurately.)
Overall anyone who can kill an animal simply for the fun of it are born with something missing in the brain. It must be genetic in their people for they marry their cousins and such (all jokes aside). When I watch these videos and I watch with my heart hurting, my anger intense but I never want to let the animals to have died in vain. I want them to know I am their voice and will educate the public.
Many of the recreational hunters laugh, they think it's a joke in the expense of the suffered animals and I am sure if there is a God and when the time comes for these monsters who pass off as "sportsman" dies or gets harvested they will have a lot to anwser to God for God did not approve of hunting. click here

I often hear from recreational hunters about "meat in freezer" after all that sadism. That is only a coverup and if you have ever seen the "back strap" they speak of it's laughable to think a whole living sentient being was murdered for fun for a mere flesh. We know their freezers are stuffed with market food as well and today we know that plant based diet is where we can get healthy protein, calcium, Iron and it's delicious and filling. click here

Many hunters gets heart attack and they kill each other, themselves and even their children in hunting accidents. If you enjoy outdoors there are so much to do and one is NOT BY KILLING! KILLING FOR FUN IS FOR PSYCHOPATHS.
Lastly - I am no "PeTa" or "HSUS", I learned a lot on my own so save your peta joke for someone else. :)
The photo is that of a fawn still with spots being spine shot .
Spine shot is a terrifying death for the deer and a whole lot of amusement for the bowhunters. Imagine how many deer, even fawns are spine shot so bowhunters can sit and watch the dance of death that can last for hours, one said they can suffer this way overnight. In Sports hunting there is no limit to the extent of cruelty that can be inflicted on the innocent sentient being because recreational hunting is legalized animals cruelty, there is no anti-cruelty law (not that we would want another euphemistic garbage), no one hears their cries, there is no camera except the ones the hunters put on their tree stand so they can video tape the snuffing of innocent sentient forest creatures and upload into youtube which is pretty dumb because people like me are watching and will expose the horrendous cruelty to educate the public.
The kind of comments you will see from other bowhunters
"Move the tree i cant see the deer flopping around like a retarded seal."

"That's a nice doe, but you shouldn't of shown the part where you walked out and shot it again... You should have let her die and just sit in your blind for another 30 minutes. It's a great kill in all, but shooting her again with a crossbow won't do much after she is already going to die, it just makes people upset to film her last breaths and last movements. Im a big hunter, and yes I have had to shoot deer in the head to put them out, but i didn't ever once think of getting it on film." hollysskill3r55 1 month ago

" i shot a doe this year and spined it. i then put 2 more shots into her!! she still didnt die for over 10 min!" tenpointman
12 year old spine shot deer and dad says "great job son". Listen to the loud bawling cries of this deer even the child did not want to hear.
Read the total callousness of this bowunter who shot a calf elk.
"I had a buddy that spined a calf elk. Shots where we go are few and far between so he only carried 3 arrows for a morning hunt. First one was a spine. On the second shot the calf lurched and it ended up grazing its neck. He moved in to ten yards and tried to put the final arrow in his chest as the calf rolled onto its back but ended up a bit back and hit the liver. The entire time the calf was calling for its mother who remained 40 yards away not wanting to leave. He had two choices. Let it slowly die calling to its mother, or use a knife. He did the humane thing and took out his knife. Not the ideal situation for his first elk with a bow but using a knife in this case was the humane thing to do."
PLEASE SIGN PETITION AT THE BOTTOM - THANK YOU
Spine shot buck even after 3 arrows did not die and the bowhunters are laughing and cheering thru all this.
Gut shot is a slow and agonizing way for the deer to die often taking up to 12 hours of more. The animals die from their own poison as you can see from a bowhunters tips on finding gut shot deer.
"Stomach wounds kill through a combination of blood loss and septicemia, or blood poisoning. The latter results when stomach contents, including bacteria and toxins, enter the blood stream. This, in turn, results in septic or toxic shock, which causes decreasing blood pressure and gradual organ failure. Stomach wounds are nearly always fatal, but a gut-shot deer can live a long time and can travel a long way if pushed (and will leave little, if any, blood)"
"A stomach shot is also fatal, but it could take 24 hours or longer for the deer to die. Give this animal at least three hours to bed down and follow up for the kill in the daytime. Make sure to circle ahead from the downwind side."
Because gut shot deer can travel far they will most likely never be retrieved rather they are killed by predators who can smell their wound. In this video you will see the bowhunter paunch hits a deer then leaves her over night to track
gut shot didn't even recover the deer
Shoots a spike deer in gut and leave him to suffer and die, he even makes mockery that he just does not feel like retrieving the deer and " probably will die in some anti-hunters yard"
There is absolutely NO mercy or compassion from bowhunters just immense pain and suffering for the animals.
More on gut shot comments from hunters forums and websites.
"Gut shot deer rarely bleed externally! Yes there is an entrance and exit wound, but the intestines and stomach often close them up. Besides, the gut area offers very few arteries and blood vessels to bleed.
Once the paunch (stomach) is ruptured, semi digested food and stomach bacteria enter the body cavity. This makes the deer sick and it will eventually lay down where it will expire after a long time. Blood loss is minimal and slow and will almost always be internal. These reasons are why one should wait a minimum of 8 hours before attempting to track a gut shot deer. "
"I felt fortunate to have taken a nice buck, but I was equally grateful for being able to see the deer drop within sight. So often that's not the case. Even with the best of hits, the deer runs out of sight, leaving us to wonder and worry...Stomach wounds kill through a combination of blood loss and septicemia, or blood poisoning. The latter results when stomach contents, including bacteria and toxins, enter the blood stream. This, in turn, results in septic or toxic shock, which causes decreasing blood pressure and gradual organ failure. Good job, you did the right thing in leaving her for the next day. She proved again that a gut shot deer if left alone will usually be found near a water source. Unfortunatly the coyotes are so bad here that a deer left overnight is usually coyote food by morning :(

Congratulations looked like she was about to cross over the redbank creek
It's all "congratulation" "good job" but these people do not feel any remorse to the suffering of the animals. People like us who are compassionate can feel their suffering and we would never put another living beings thru something we would never want to feel ourselves that is why bowhunters and sports hunters are all hearltess monsters!
The picture below shows what happened overnight to a wounded deer in Kansas.
I want to thank SHARK for not only exposing this coward country singer Troy Gentry who bowhunted tame bear to make himself feel "macho" but for bringing the cruel and sadistic "sports" of bowhunting to light
http://www.youtube.com/watch?...v=tDsUx4PH5Aw As Steve Hindi of SHARK mentioned that the bear named "Cubby" when shot into the lung drowned in his own blood and that is one of the main way our bowhunted animals die. Whether it's a hit to the gut, lung, liver, and other parts of the body of the animals there is hardly ever a "quick death" in bowhunting that is why in bowhunting websites they have a recommended waiting time of 30-45 minutes before tracking the animals. The Animal rights activists that are protesting against Troy Gentry playing at Arizona's state Fair says "there was no chase, there was no hunt" which in fact describes exactly how bear and deer bowhunting works in America because 90% of the killing are done by a tree stand or blinds with baits and attractant to bring the animals to them, then they kill so overall there is not much difference of what Troy Gentry did and what 13 millions sports hunters of America does to our wildlife. Also US Fish and Wildlife is a hypocrite being that they kill billions of innocent wildlife by the use f bowhunting, shotgun, trapping, snaring and shooting by planes such as in wolves. I like to remind everyone do not pay attention to recreational hunter who tries to use the "true hunter" , "real hunter", "ethical hunter" excuses to act like they are not the same as Troy Gentry when we know damn well they are especially the bowhunters. This is not about killing for survival aka subsistence hunters this is about killing for sports and in bowhunting being that its an expensive "sports" theirs are not about survival.

"Consider the physiology of the deer (and bear) who dies by suffocation, choking on its own blood, or the deer who dies after an arrow penetrates the diaphragm. The presence of a highlysophisticated nervous system in deer certainly suggests that their nervous systems perform the same functions as human nervous systems. The presence of the same neurochemicals in deer as in humans similarly shows that they feel pain as we do. In recent years there has been a major shift in the way the scientific community understands the mental life of animals, particularly mammals. Presently, researchers in a variety of animal-related disciplines generally agree that in addition to being sentient, mammals are consciously aware and have feelings and emotions. Mammals, including deer, are presently understood by scientists to have the capacity to think. Numerous studies indicate that the mental harm that is done to an animal placed in a stressful situation may be more injurious than that done to a person in a similar situation because the animal's mind, in varying degrees, focuses more on the immediate than the distant. Thus, an animal, unlike a person, is less aware that the present anxiety they are experiencing may be temporary." Steve Nusbaum MA, DVM,
The lie you will most likely hear from bowhunters.
"I've taken 50 plus deer with my bow, and I've never had one run more than 10 yards or live longer than 30 seconds. My 14-year-old son took one last weekend, and it was four seconds before it went down. It's very quick."
When they say "it went down" does not mean the animal is dead and in "tracking deer after shot" website you can clearly see that the animals suffer and die a horrible painful death especially in the hands of bowhunters. notice how uncaring and unmerciful these monsters are . Bowhunted animals do not die "quick" whether be Elks, Deer, Bear, Antelope etc. that is why you always hear bowhunter say "give it time" meaning time for the animals to die.
"After shooting the deer, stay in your stand and be quiet for the recommended time. A noise might push your deer away. He could be bedded down less than 100 yards away.
The deer could be "filling up" inside with blood, showing very little external bleeding. The hair from the lung area is coarse and brown with black tips. The deer will usually go down in less than 125 yards. Give the deer 30 minutes before tracking.
A heart-shot deer will sometimes jump wildly when hit. The blood trail may be sparse for the first 20 yards or so. A heart shot deer may track as much as a quarter of a mile, depending on what part of the heart is damaged. The usual is less than 125 yards. The hair from this shot will be long brown or grayish guard hairs. Again, a 30 minute wait is advised. But, if while trailing you find where he has bedded back off and wait an hour before taking up the trail again.
If the deer is dead in an hour, he will still be dead in 4 hours. Have patience, he will not go anywhere. Wait him out for at least 4 hours. Wait overnight if the deer isshot in the evening.
If a spine-shot deer hobbles off, wait a half-hour and track slowly and quietly. Look for the deer bedded down.
A liver-shot deer. The liver lies against the diaphragm in the approximate center of the deer. It is a definite killing shot. The blood trail will be decent to follow and the deer should bed down and die within 200 yards, if not pushed. A one-hour wait is best. The hair from the liver area is brownish gray and much shorter than the hair from the lung area. If you push the deer out of his bed, back off and wait another hour.
Animals, especially deer, do not start bleeding at the point of impact. The blood trail generally starts about 15 to 30 yards from where the point of impact is. I have seen deer that were "high" lung shot that never bled a drop outside the body! And a heavy blood trail takes a while due to the chest cavity having to fill up before the blood can exit the wound.
Here are more collections of quotes from hunters on "tracking wounded deer/game" that is put into a video.
"Ethical" Hunter says "let the deer lay up and die"
A person leaves a comment at a bowhunting forum and he write
"I was watching a hunting show last night and they shot a buck with a bow and it ran about 150 yds. I was actually thinking about it and am surprised that more people don't complain about it being cruel. You shoot them with a gun and 9 out of 10 they drop dead but 9 out of 10 times they run off and die later. don't bother me either way but i'm just saying that i'm surprised it hasn't come up more then it does. "
Bowhunter 1989 Big Game Issue An article entitled “A Call for Accuracy” by Dwight Schuh states: Our sport can’t stand forever in the face of growing hatred. Archers must work to counteract that sentiment and build bowhunting in a positive light. The first step should be obvious. Don’t brag about hitting and losing animals. He goes on to say, There’s nothing honorable about hitting and losing an animal; it just means you screwed up. Don’t brag about it. Just shut up.

@ChasingTailOutdoors - I gave em bout 2 hours to die, and looked 4 blood for an hour or so... But with the weather here being in the 70's, an over night recovery was'nt an option, so I had ta press the issue a bit... MidWestOutdoorz 2 weeks ago

An hour isn't long enough for a gut shot deer, you should of left and came back in the morning. And tracked it. You don't have to have blood to track and most gut shot deer don't bleed out because the fat will clog the hole.

"Yes that is the best way to make them feel the pain and misery and we can feel good about it for the inhuman crimes they commit on and on..."
"Bottom line is that bow hunting is not a "sport", is a an archaic and sadistic practice that has no place in ANY wildlife management protocol. If wildlife management principles were for the benefit of the "target" species; there in fact woul...d not be a "need" for a next season! I challenge these so-called "sportsmen" to modify their egotistical trophy attitude to embrace philosophies that eventually realize a smaller and healthier population at the expense of eventually not having a "next season". Oh, and also ban tree stands, baiting, bow hunting and mussel guns .... State Fish and Game departments are pimps for the NRA!"David
"Everyone knows this animals do not merely drop. That's why in most of the videos they will wait a good hour before even trying to find the animal, as they want their trophy at the end of it. Real men don't hunt they are compassionate toward...s all living creatures. It's all about power for this sad individuals, they like to exercise their dominion over these poor defenceless creatures. I have rescued deer before that were due to be shot, we used nets & herded them into them. Once caught we quickly covered their heads to calm them down. The noise they made I will never forget. How anyone could hurt these beautiful gentle creatures is just a mystery to me :(" Paul
" Bow hunting is as barbaric as lopping off rhino horns to let the animals bleed to death, as barbaric as poaching elephants for their tusks, canned hunting et al....leave the animals alone, they don't hunt us. What is with the human race!" Susan
"This is madness in its sickest form... They got no feelings or respect for any life form I am sure... They shouldn't just be bow hunted themselves, rather if I was there I would have stick up a Bow into their cruel inhuman a**es..." Bea
"Unbelievable!!! First reaction: gut....wanting to and feeling like throwing up from anger and sadness!! Second reaction: Anger continued....wanting to "bow hunt" a "bow hunter"!!!!!"Leslie
"Hunters are murderers and mutants! In my opinion they are not human, but a sub-human off shoot species from the human race. Of course, deer suffer and do not die immediately from bow hunting! I have found dead deer on my property that ha...ve run for a mile from where they were assaulted. Even if they did die quickly, it is still murder. Hunters are still stealing the life of the deer they kill for sport! All of these dick-less wonders rationalize away their abberant, murderous behavior with, "they die quickly, it's a sport, someone has to kill them to avoid the 'overcrowding' of the environment, hunting is a natural part of the 'system', I love the outrdoors, I hunt to feed my family" , etc., etc, ad nauseum! Hunters are souls-less monsters who enjoy killing! That is why they hunt! They like to kill living beings! Human could not do this! Thanks, for the info on this atrocity" Jerry
"crying again, f**ng pieces of s**t for brains morons, these are the demons we have to fight, so sad, they have to kill to feel like a man...oh god i hate these a--holes! pack them up and send them to an island to shoot at each other for gods sake.."
"What could be more fun than stalking beautiful, defenseless, and precious creatures then murdering them. What a wonderful accomplishment to be proud of. Ghandi said you can measure the moral progress of a country by the way the animals are treated. Using this measuring stick woud mean the United States sucks and the moral progress is in the toilet." Arthur Poletti
-"I won't watch that video, it would make me too angry and sad. But I will say that most hunters look the same...gormless, dull, unintelligent, and they're often overweight and flaccid. I should feel sorry for them I suppose, but I despise them...and I've never seen a photo of a hunter that hasn't made me want to smack the idiotic grin off their face with a shovel!"
" Bedded down? That's what this cretin called where a deer falls to die, as if it were just drifting off for a long winter's nap. Sweet dreams.
I lived by a stream for years where dear came to drink. I think they knew they were safe in "m...y yard." Even when they ate my flowers. Some were so tame. One had passed me, I whistled, and the little doe came back up the hill and stood there for a good ten minutes while I talked to her.
Yeah, crazy lady talks to deer. I told her how beautiful she was, then warned her to watch out for other humans, because some would hunt her. I hope she understood.
She just stood there, intent on what I was saying, as if she did. I will never forget her big, dark eyes. I hope she is OK. How could anyone harm such a creature.
How could anyone talk about what how many hours to wait before they begin to look for the wounded, ( died almost instantly) animal, depending on which organ was hit?
Or advice the "mighty hunters" of these gentle animals to allow the deer to die a slow, painful death overnight, if gut shot, rather than to bother oneself to go put the poor thing out of it's misery.
Should I follow their advice if someone shoots them in the gut?" Donna
